A LIFE IN MUSIC

Mark Kaplan is a musician, inventor, writer, and bandleader based in Las Vegas.

For more than four decades, music has been both his profession and his obsession. His journey began at age twelve as a violinist, performing with youth orchestras and developing a lifelong fascination with harmony, arrangement, and the mechanics of musical expression.

From 1988 through 1998, Mark was active in the San Francisco rock scene as a guitarist and founding member of the band Eyesore. During that period, the band recorded with songwriter and producer Linda Perry.
